Workplace Policy

This policy outlines the guidelines for Xavirgin's remote internship and training program in the IT sector, effective upon company registration. Until then, it serves as a guiding framework.

1. Mission and Culture

Xavirgin.com is dedicated to creating AI-powered solutions and digital experiences that empower brands and businesses to innovate, scale, and stay future-ready. Our culture is built on trust, creativity, and accountability.

2. Workplace Model

Remote-first: Interns participate in a fully remote program from any location with a stable internet connection.
Flexibility: The program prioritizes outcomes, with structured daily commitments as outlined in the Work Hours section.
Async-friendly: Communication will primarily occur through tools like Slack/Discord, email, and project management software to minimize synchronous meetings outside scheduled daily meetings.

3. Work Hours & Availability

Standard reference: Interns are expected to commit to 4 hours daily, Monday to Saturday, including a mandatory daily meeting at 7:30 PM IST.
Time tracking: Focus is on deliverables and outcomes, not micromanaged hours.
Availability: Interns must attend daily meetings and be available for project discussions in Indian Standard Time (IST).

4. Conduct & Professionalism

Respect for diversity in culture, beliefs, and backgrounds is mandatory.
Communication must be professional, constructive, and transparent.
Confidential company information must not be shared without explicit approval.

5. Internship Program

Xavirgin offers only unpaid remote internships in the IT sector for a duration of 3 months, with no paid job offerings or hiring for paid roles.
Upon completion, interns will receive a free certificate of completion, and those who perform well may receive a recommendation letter.
Equal Opportunity: Opportunities are open to all, with no bias based on gender, ethnicity, religion, disability, or orientation.

6. Tools & Resources

Xavirgin will provide access to necessary software, cloud resources, and communication tools for interns.
Interns must use secure internet connections (VPN where required).
Personal devices must have updated operating systems and antivirus software.

7. Data Security & Privacy

Interns must adhere to cybersecurity best practices.
All company data must be stored in designated repositories (e.g., GitHub, company drives).
Unauthorized sharing or storage of company data is strictly prohibited.

8. Leave & Time Off

Flexible leave policy: Interns must request approval for extended time off.
National holidays and religious festivals will be respected based on the intern’s location.

9. Growth & Learning

Xavirgin encourages upskilling through hands-on training and may provide access to free or subsidized learning resources (e.g., online courses) subject to approval.
Mentorship and collaboration opportunities will be integral to the internship experience.

10. Future Additions

As Xavirgin grows and formalizes its structure, this policy will evolve to include:
- Formal internship and training program guidelines.
- Feedback and performance evaluation processes.
- Additional support for intern development and engagement.
